This was originally just going to go into the comments section, then it got too long...


Due to The Siege (usually) being a Map Jam exclusive, meaning it's created within a time limit often within one or two weeks, I feel I can't always fully realise the vision for what these should be. I'm a sucker for detail, but it ends up being a squeeze by the end to cram as much in as possible. During The Siege: Chapter II and even up to now, I've been working on another project that takes most of my time, so modding is a free-time commodity.

That being said, I do always try to plan ahead and can say I do know where Chapter III takes place, which I'm sure you can work out from the dialogue in Chapter II.

I have my own interpretation of that story. I know what happened before; what caused the war, who the characters are and their relations. A lot of this I do still think works better in subtext and sometimes never even has to be written down, but some things, I'd love to expand on, so if there's something you saw, read or heard that you wanted clarification on, I'd be happy to expand in the comments.

I have this whole story running around in my head as "canon". However, I would like to hear you think!


No matter how outlandish you may think it is! I obviously can't guarantee that I'll take your story route, but I'd love to know what you think will happen, or maybe you even have an alternate take on the events. If it's particularly good, then hey, you may even swing the whole story to a whole new direction!
