Despite going down the industrialization focus tree, the non-industrialized nation debuff stayed there giving -70% to construction and making it near impossible to build anything.
At one point all my population randomly switched over to non-core, taking away most of my man power.
My industry also mostly disappeared and at that point I called it quits.
