Are some Tek Engrams excluded from dropping?
So i've unlock 20 some tek engrams from killing dinos, but i cant make any of the because i cannot get the engram for the tek generator? Is that excluded from the tek drops available?

Yes and no; you can get tek stuff that comes from gamma & beta bosses from regular shiny animals, but the alpha-tier tek stuff can only come from enraged shiny animals.

Just means you have to keep an eye out for the relatively rare enraged creatures to pick up the last few things.
