Question about how the effects work
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how the Radiation effect works with the mutation chance on dinos is it only the male that needs to be pulsed by it? Or do the females also need to be pulsed? Also can't seem to pod the Radiation dino after it pulses.

Also, when you take the shiny essence off a dino, it says the "same class", is that ONLY for the same dino or is there a class system i'm unaware of where certain dinos of a particular class can have the essence applied to them.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

Did you ever get an answer to the radioactive shiny question, as I'm also curious ? Also, do you have to have them next to the mating dino's or just next to the female as it is about to pop an egg/baby ?

I'm guessing that, as it's been a month since you posted this, you already have the answer to the second part of your question. If not, however, 'same class' does indeed mean a dino of the exact same type. ie./ if you took the essence from a Shiny Dodo, you can only give it to another Dodo.

I had to experiment myself, but after a lot of testing, it became very evident that the way it works is that as long as the radiation symbol is above both the male and the females it is mating with, then the effect will work. Tried with ONLY the male and it had no effect. But yeah, it's only for the mating phase that the radiation symbols need to be on them for.
