make the EDB prepare carefully requirement optional
Hi!
For people who don't want or have EDB, the debug menu is not opening when this mod is loaded.
can you remove the mandatory requirement for this mod?

Glad to hear it. Good thing i checked discussions before making a bug report. Getting errors trying to open debug menus without prepare carefully, which i never used.

Seconding this. I have a broken event that I need to force to happen, and as I can't enter the debug menu I'm unable to do so.

So its psychology? it was bugging me to figure out what mod it is.

I guess I will watch here for progress, so i can remove prepare carefully once its done.

Yeah, I was going to give this mod a go, but EDB is a no go for me. I do use character editor, so I will wait for the update removing the dependency

I had to get EDB as well, because I needed the debug menus...
But please remove this from dependicies :)

EDB shouldn't be a dependency, it adjusts the code automatically based on whether you have it or not IIRC. I just never updated the code for EDB's new version.

I have mods that conflict with EDB, would be nice if this was resolved.

I can open the debug menu, and trigger everything apart from incidents. Is this related?

yeah because you have EDB installed, remove it and try again to see what happens

Sorry yeah, now i get this bug, mine must be something separate affecting the incident trigger menu :(
