1. Yes district mod won't work with this mod since it changes the building itself. I have talked to slooth but we both haven't found a way to fix it (mods currently can't speak to each other)
2. "Just give a tool that gives people control" - sadly a bit easier said than done, currently some modders are looking into making a modmenu for stuff like that, but it's not something I can easily implement myself but will look into when it's available...
3. "Day Night Cycle is way to short" - umm this is obviously very subjective criticism and I might change it. However, even with torches you can't see as well at night. I could make the night longer but I don't think it would contribute in a positive way. Increasing the lighting dramatically so you can see everything at night, really messes with the atmosphere imo. Also I think some people play with x3 speed mode on all the time, where infact night is "only" 27 seconds long. So I have to get the balance right. As I said, I might change the speed lightly, but not by a lot. If you want a longer night, I'm sorry but you will have to play the slow mode :) (until we figure out the mod menu).
4. "Light from some torches is way to strong" - Yes that's a "problem" with the way unity has light implemented and how buildings are placed in the game. Overlapping light sources seem overly bright... Either I can lower the intensity (then you wont be able to see much) or I can increase it/leave it as it is (then you will have those intensely illuminated parts of the city). (I for instance took the hovels only torch because if you place 2-4 of them close to each other you retinas burn out)
This is just some insight for you guys, why I made some decisions they way I have. I still am greatful for all the feedback and will change things around obviously if a lot of people ask for it. Just wanted to let you know what some of my limitations are..
