Mod-config-resetting crash
Tried to add this mod to my list, but it keeps crashing the mod loading and forces a mod config reset. Dev log didn't seem very helpful, but I found this in my Player.log, which seems relevant:

Caught exception while loading play data but there are active mods other than Core. Resetting mods config and trying again.
The exception was: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Its one of material mods, either expanded materials plastics, Materials+ or alpha biomes materials patch. One of those three

I'm having the same issue, although I was already using the mod in a game actively. Some other mods must have updated, and then rimworld crashed to desktop every time. with rimpy, and a very very very long time slowly adding mod, restarting, rinse repeat. I found that fertile fields was the issue. I really want to identify what mod is conflicting, but don't know what else to look at.

Can confirm the same error, trying to figure out which material mod is breaking it for me since I don't have any of the three test mentioned.

well I couldn't figure it out easily, sorting mods without Fluffy's Mod Manager is...difficult.
gonna post my modconfig.xml in case anyone finds a mod we have in common that appears to be causing issues. pastebin. com/wpu6X2Xf
