• Subscribe to the mod in the workshop.
  
• Copy the @PvZmoD_TheDarkHorde folder from your !Workshop client folder to your server root folder.
  
• Copy the Liven.bikey file to the server keys folder.
  
• Add "-mod=@PvZmoD_TheDarkHorde" in your .bat server launching file

("-mod=@PvZmoD_TheDarkHorde;@OtherMod" if you have other mods to load).
Note that this mod has to be loaded server and client side.

These files will allow you to customise the mod as you want.

Start the server once, the Dark Horde profile folder will be automatically created in your server profile folder.

Launch the game and press numpad6 (you should see a red message), an “Admins.txt” file with your Steam64ID will be created in the Dark Horde profile folder.
If you need you can add more steamID in this admin file.

Not mandatory but highly recommended if you want your players easily access to your discord (or other website you choose)

The installation is done. Now you can tweak the basic values to fit your server needs.

Important:

• Loot on zombie, especially on the day/night Masters (this can be done in Pvz_TheDarkHorde_ZombiesLoot.xml file) by default they only loot guts, maybe you want to modify this.
  
• Deplacement type : you can modify it in Pvz_TheDarkHorde_MainOptions.xml (details in The Movement Types thread. The default cfg is "move randomly" at day time and "hunt closest player" at night. Welcome in PvZmoD)
  
• If you want to use the mod in another map than Chernarus you have to change the values in the files that are in "Coordinates" folder.

Other:

• You can disable/tweak the possibility for the players to see the horde direction in Pvz_TheDarkHorde_ScreenMessages.xml. By default the player can see the horde direction (but not the distance) unless they are at less than 1 km.
  
• If you don't like night horde you can deactivate it by setting "Horde_Movement_Type" to -1 in Pvz_TheDarkHorde_MainOptions.xml.
  
• Look at the Help files[/b] to have lot more informations.

When you think your are OK, you can press numpad6 ingame (or restart server).
You will see a message ingame, if not, verify your admin.txt

Note that « numpad9 » allow the admin to « reset » the horde : the horde will be delete and recreate at its current position if persistance feature is on or at its starting point (or at a random coordinate depending on the movement type chosen). You don't need to use this shortcut to apply xmls modifications, use it only if you want the horde to completely restart.

This mod is Fully Customisable. Tweaking means taking precautions to not redo things.

When futur updates of the mod will occures, always take a look to the patch notes because changements can occur in profile files that imply to copy again the files in your profile folder. I'll try to group these changes to not have to update too often and most of these updates should not be mandatory (as long as it is just tweaks).

Last thing, if profile folder need to be update, do not replace the Admin.txt or you will need to add the idsteam64 in it again.
