Wondering about what is done and where I am stuck.

I received the quest Return to the Aewyl to return to Hendrik in Ryneweald But he doesn't do anything to complete the quest.

Edit: returning to Hendrik after restoring the Aginnum Republic advanced the quest. After defending Blackmyre I got a message saying the story mode is, up to then, completed

There's the quest Sons of Iesamior, where I've found the relic in Abandoned Oasis . Wondering where else to look or what is done (I've been to Hallowed Cave and Ternar's Grave ) only to find that they do not advance the quest.

There is also the man in Old Talmarg's Inn that has some additional dialogue regarding the sons but I took it only to mean to point to Hallowed Cave

As of where I am: the Aginnum Republic has retaken everything from the Aginnum Empire; Swangarde, Erskine, Aginnum Republic, and Estmere were willing to make peace to fight the Hernar. I also have an independent kingdom (consisting of two Aginnum castles I took from Aphillius, after insulting the king). Currently working on getting Amber Isles, Zemnaya, and Aphillius to make peace to fight the Hernar
