That may just be a single player problem. It works on the servers just fine, and AA2 had that issue whether on a server or single player and it drove me nuts. Sorry bud, but i think with AA3, single player just doesn't keep the names. (Also a side note, the discussions are dead, and dev isn't checking them, you have to jump onto his personal home discord, info on the main page, if you want more info about it, or possible just post issues with the game)
