You can load this map without an Index, you just have to join through someone who owns an Index. It's not an engine / support thing this is just a reward for people who got the Index.

I know that, and it's a load of bull. Modifying the game files lets me in to walk around them just fine, so it's terribly walled-garden of them to lock other headsets out of seeing them privately. I know it's not a HUGE deal, but posting them publically like this and not giving non-Index owners a warning is very frustrating.

I did get them working via some backdoorsy stuff, btw, so I have seen them all at this point. But it was a lot more work than it needed to be.

and if you uninstall and reinstall steamvr, none of it works XD

Well that is a disappointment that as an Oculus user who cant get an Index cause Valve dont sell it in this country is a little slack of them.

it's just a matter of time, the corona virus has limited production of almost everything, including the index

It has nothing to do with stock levels but Valve are not selling the Index at all in Australia so this limits me from buying one and hence I cant get this which is as i said above very slack of them.
