yea i downloaded both packs, but this is still happening

Ok I found a solution. Unsubscribe from both HL:Alyx environments and the Asset pack. Then subscribe to the asset pack FIRST, then the two environments after. This worked for me!

I have the exact same issue, unsubscribing/ subscribing doesnt do the trick for me...

Thanks no mention of it when you launch Steam VR and it gives you the option to install the environments but no mention of the asset pack that is required first!

Try going into properties and turning off the installed DLC, uninstall everything, reinstall it and then enable the DLC again.

It worked for me.
