Reinstall of Ark Mod
------------------------------
1. Stop ARK if it is running
2. Unsubscribe (or else it immediately redownloads)
3. Stop Steam
4. Remove `<ModID> folder` and `<ModID>.mod` here: < ...\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods\ >
5. Remove `<ModID> folder` here: < ...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\346110\ >
6. Restart Steam
7. Re-subscribe and wait for steam to finish downloading
8. Open ARK and let it install (wait for the “Installing” text in the bottom right corner to vanish)
Naturally if you start your world without the mod the modded stuff will disappear.. SP automatically keeps backups though. Google how to revert to one.
Don't know what you meant by walkie???
Crashing following an update is almost always caused by a corrupt download. The above is usually the fix. Nothing the mod author can do about steam downloading corrupt files though.
