Last i heard of this... Was because the person was using a stacking mod with broken inheritance.

Stacking mods need to be higher than SS in the load order. Then pickup/replace the hatchery.

Also make sure you're not using fertiliser by accident...

Make sure you are crafting the RIGHT re-fertilizer. I don't k now if it is something unique to my setup or caused by another mod or something but there are actually two different recipes in my game. One is cheap only needing some thatch, another has a lot of components including rare flowers. One crafts in stacks of 10 one just a single. The more expensive one that crafts as a single item is the one that you need. That one works, the other does not.

This is correct. Whatever mod you are using has broken inheritance. Otherwise in your case both of them should work.
