That said, why not just use the nanny?
scratching my head over this problem though, ive read some other posts here and there about people having the same problem, but not many and no solutions - but it also happens with the vanilla incubator, apparently.
how to fix it, idk. someone suggested restarting but i tried that already. how strange.
Once hatched, babies shouldnt be any different to those hatched outside an incubator.
but its not really necessary anymore as it seems to have fixed itself. i bred some voidwyrms, snow owls and raptors yesterday and today and it was all fine this time.
very strange indeed. i didnt change a thing.
And i know the thread says restarting fixes it, but i tried 3 restarts before posting my issue and it didnt work then, so hence the confusion. idk what i did to fix it.
Last I saw that buff had known bugs as it allowed you to get an infinite number of fertilised eggs ignoring all mating cooldowns for the duration of the effect.
So yeh its almost certainly a vanilla game issue unrelated to SS specifically.
Were it SS, or the SS incubator, it should be occurring on other maps asides from Gen2.
