Does this affect how long it takes both placed notes, and stored, written notes to disappear?

Can you tell me what the text font and character count limit is? I'm trying to copy and paste from windows notpad, and it's coming out incredibly funky. Sometimes it just refuses to accept the written portions and makes me have to re-write the note. (Asking for lore-building purposes.)
