Hello after your update today my game lags and is unplayable. I started a new game to test the isue with and without your mod. If your mod is enabled, the game stutters extremly. So far i enjoyed the randomness of the Z encounters with your mod. I schould say that i play in 41 iwbums and i have every mod activated that i could found in the workshop. But yesterday there was no problem in performance related playing. Hope you can fix that and thx for the mod :)

Thanks for the bug report, I will revert this update back to the old update and try to figure out what is causing the lag.

The code called for variables "gameVersion" and "configOpts" that are located far away in the shared folder for the new configuration saving system. I created two localized variables from those two and placed them in the server folder to reduce the lag.

I updated the mod and it should reduce some of the lag. If not, let me know.

I play in single player and create the game only over sandbox option. I have now a a freezing every 30 seconds :(. I guess it is your mod, i will test it and let you know.

Every 30 seconds? Ah that seems to be an improvement from unplayable which is good. If in your testing it does the 30 second freeze still, let me know. I'll keep optimizing it.

So i restarted the game and now i have again that nasty lag. Driving is impossible with this lag. Sry :(. your mod is the only one which was updated recently.

Which build is this on? 40.43 or 41.30?
Does only driving cause the issue? If so I think it might be that HP multiplier for zombies I added. I'll work on optimizing that.

I wonder if it has to do with build 41.30 which released on near the day I updated the mod. I think build 41.30 might be slow and unoptimized with my mod as I got a little lag on it too when I tried the mod on build 41.30. I'll try to see what's going on and find out which lines of code is lagging since build 41.30.

Currently there's no lag on 40.43.

Ah, re-update or resubscribe to the mod. I fixed the menu issue. Forgot to name the MOD_ID from "CustomizableZombiesTest" to "CustomizableZombies" which caused that issue.

Lag has gone so far in 41.xx. There is a little lag if there are many Zeds in one place. I will watch it and tell you my observations. Thx for the Mod and your continued effort to improve this mod and the game.

Ah the large lag is gone so far? That's good to hear. If the large lag comes back again let me know and I'll upload the very old version of this mod to a new MOD_ID just for build 41. Otherwise, cheers.

Ok i found a strange bug, if your mod is in 41.xx activated and i start the engine of a car the game freezes and crashes. So that i have to press the x button. I lose ca 5 minutes of game time and i am far away from my car....after deactivating your mod everything is fine. Maybe you reupload the old version for us 41.xx users. Thx and i report later if everything is fine.

I'm hoping that 41.30 didn't cause a problem yeah, but it seems to have maybe caused some new problems. Probably 41.30 is unoptimized and slow for my newer code and causing some lag issues.


Here's the older code and version. I think it should work with 41.xx, (OLD) Customizable Zombies
