Weapon requests
Weapon request conditions:
-It must have existed and used in WW2;
-It must have been used on naval military units;
-The gun caliber cannot be greater than 180mm;
-The weapon itself cannot be larger than the currently available German Twin 150mm/55 SK C/28.
-Even if all those conditions are fulfilled, the request may be denied if either me or anyone is unable to find and share any 3D models or adequate blueprints for me to replicate the gun. This has happened a few times.

Requested weapons that are already present in other mods:
-1.1"/75 "Chicago Piano"
-(more were requested that fit this category but forgot)

If they are way too similar looking to justify then no. I didn't do my homework on those. Pics of the different mounts?

it looks quite different, and i believe it also has slightly heavier shells

You post the link to the image but you add a space somewhere in it so that Steam doesn't delete it, like this

it would be better if you sent only one comment with both links. Your 1st link is a fail, it sent me to the Navweaps 40mm bofors page but doesn't show the specific picture you wanted.
The 2nd link works and it's just the vanilla quad bofors but unshielded.

yeah, it would be useful for a few larger ships ive been making, as imo the vanilla 40mm doesnt look very nice when painted

not really sure if this would fit but what about fixed weapons for naval fighters and weapons for naval aircraft, like .50cals 20mms and turrets for naval aircraft off the top of my head i can think of the fixed 20mm hispano mk ll cannon and the .30 and .50 machine guns, or maybe just fixed machine guns in general or by naval military units do you mean just ships not aircraft?

Not really a weapon request, but what about some model for separate parts of the gun (like magazine/clip/drum, barrel, shield etc) for deco purposes. It will add good potential to ship decoration details; maybe a pile of Oerlikon drums on the side a placement or some barrels lying on the wall ready to be swtiched out
