Love it! 4/5 stars

This is a well paced campaign that also incorporates Crash gameplay elements in a natural way. It's not too hard and the Crash stuff works great for L4D while still feeling like Crash. The genuinely scary moments are also neat even if they don't exactly fit in.

My only complaints are with the finale. Six chapters is already on the long side, but the final map drags on. Lots of filler, not enough health items, Cortex has so much HP it's hard to tell you're even damaging him, and the laser room is confusing and punishing. Also, the "return to Earth" bit is a mess. I like that it gives you an incentive to grab all the gems, but it feels tedious.

However, my issues with the finale were softened because it has invisible mid-level checkpoints. Overall, this campaign is worth a playthrough even though it's on the long side. It expands on Crash's levels so well and shows so much personality that it feels wholly original. My first run took 3 hours, but I had a good time
