With default settings, after you have enabled the teleport feature, you can hold down the Tab or Map button and use the arrow or shooting keys to move a cursor around on the map. To confirm the selection, you have to press the Enter Key or the thing you press when confirming menus.

You can also use the mouse to select a room to teleport to, and confirm the teleport with a left click.
