THE ISSUE:
The work value set for Worship and Prey were set to Haul, another was set to Handle. A simple file edit sets them both to Study.
Note: The Work Task known as Study is from the Children, School and Learning modification. I use it because I feel it fits with the task and is rarely in use. You can use a base game Work Task Value, however most Core Game Values are heavily used already.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1974112020\Defs\WorkGiverDefs
1. Using this map, find the file labelled: WorkGivers.xml
2. Right click it and select the edit option.
3. Change the two respective values from Haul and Handle to Study.
The values look like this:
<workType>Haul</workType>
<workType>Handle</workType>
They both should look like this:
<workType>Study</workType>
4. Open Rimworld and Play
I've had colonists hunger rate break, the religions tab break, and total grey screen. All solved with this simple trick. Help's when you've just spent 40hrs on a campaign and you get something like this.
1. Save game your game and turn off the mod from the main menu.
2. Re-open Rimwold. Open the old save and save it again.
3. Turn on mod. and re-open Rimwold. Play.
Error message pops up: "No Verse.WorkTypeDef named Study found to..."
That's my bad, I will edit my post. I use the mod: Children, school and learning, which includes study as a work type. If you want to use this edit without said mod, Switch the work value with one you would prefer it to be under. If that is the case it would be best to use the Fluffy's Work Tab as most basic Work Tasks are already common tasks.
Thank you for your input, I will add more to this when I have the time.
