Gave up on this Thread when Celticus couldn't find a solution.

Anyway, some good news, one of the guys behind Para Bellum said to use their Weather Submod as a standalone. It doesn't have the cool UI elements & lighting changes like Orbis, but it does the same retextures(Such as the Barbarian Villages and certain trees) as it, & thensome, without the Spruce tree glitch.
They said it can be used without the "requirements" too, so that way it'll work with DEI. I've tested it, and it works like a charm.

That being said Esoteric, you should honestly make a Submod for Orbis then since you found a fix, because a lot of people still *really* want the Lighting and UI changes this Mod brings. Myself included
Edit: Ironically enough, I think Celticus himself is working Para Bellum team now lmao
I guess people can dm me if they want to try it, and if Celticus doesn't object. Might still have to delete any conflicting files using pack file manager though, but it's untested.
If you were to upload a Submod that acts as a Patch for this mod? You'd be a lifesaver for so many people. Most have started using Para Bellum - Weather, or one of Enkeli's mods alternatively, but those only do so much & don't have the cool UI changes. Not to mention Enkeli's mods are well...controversial, to say the least. DEI's Discord has been openly hostile to anybody who uses Enkeli's mods, and for good reasons, but now it's starting to get out of hand. Everybody's saying to use this mod instead of Enkeli's or Para Bellum - Weather, but nobody is stepping up to the plate to "fix" it.
You may very be the only one who is willing lol

Rusted PackFile Manager (its well documented how to setup)

Id also recommend copying the mod pack file from its workshop location to the R2/data folder and loading it from there for performance, that way your also modifying a copy.
What are the downsides?
