Add passenger and dock platform support?
To the mod author and those interested.
Pretty self explanatory, but I was curious if you had any plans to update this mod to support passenger station platforms and ship dock platforms, as I've run into capacity limit problems in a "realistic capacity" based save I have.
There in that save, my passenger stations are normally 2 passenger platforms wide to equal the width of a cargo platform, and some are even 4 wide, so in theory they could hold up to 4x the capacity, but naturally they're limited to stock.
Same goes for ships as I was planning to increase their capacity by 4x in my next save so having a dock capable and large enough to hold that is vital.

If you don't plan to add these, then is it ok if I create my own "patch" mod that uses this as a dependency?

I know you didn't get a reply from the author, but if you did make a version of this to work with harbors I would definitely be interested!

I haven't yet but I hope to do s by the end of the year if my free time permits me to.

I was wondering.. did you already started it? that would be the best mod, passengers standing one one side while the other side is completly empty

Sadly I still haven't had time to sit down and work on the code, but hopefully I can get it down by the time the next TpF2 update is out as it sounds like UG is making some game engine/code changes.

It's less necesary now after the latest update. I haven't played it yet, but apparently stations of all kinds now have modules you can attach to increase capacity, which solves the problem. Instead of piling up dock platforms right next to each other you can just attach one or more warehouses to the dock itself and increase the overall capacity.

a mod that allows the stations to be built larger does not include the station building capacity.
because I no longer have the exact mod in my head:steamfacepalm:
