As I checked it's a display error, I'll fix it soon.

I have the problem that if I just start a game as any nation it crashes in the first 3 seconds. I deinstalled everything and installed a clean version of EUIV but it still does not work. I also have every DLC necessary.

With crashes I meant that the game freezes but the background music stll works.

oh thats normal, the mod is just iniatializing itself, which usually takes 20-120 seconds depending on your PC performance.

As I checked it's a display error, I'll fix it soon.

From what i can see, it actually doesn't discount it when I click it either, just the money. I think that's about it for the time being, tried brandenburg as well, tech system works as intended apart from that minor hiccup, all of the previous systems still work, so, so far so good.

Thank you for your replay but even after 10 minutes the game won't start and i do not even have a bad pc.

My games crashes within 3 sec with only this mod,tried many times,none succeeded.

Loaded the game as Castile, it gave me a popup "Government Reform abolished" and then froze whether or not you click "ok" on the popup. Waited for literally 10 min, on the clock, but it kept being frozen. I think my PC isn't terrible.

Loaded the game as Teutonic Order, same popup. It also froze, waited for 4min on the clock before I killed the game.

I have no other mods enabled. A clean install didn't fix this problem.

Maybe the game freezes if you lack certain DLC or immersion packs? I have the necessary ones but not all of them.

The only DLC and immersion packs I have enabled are: Conquest of Paradise, Wealth of Nations, Res Publica, Art of War, El Dorado, Common Sense, The Cossacks, Rights of Man, Mandate of Heaven, Cradle of Civilization, Dharma, some music packs (Conquest of Constantinople, Fredman's Epistles, Fredman's Midsummer Epistles) and some unit packs (100 years war unit pack, horsemen of the crescent unit pack).

Can you wait till the game runs and tell us how long it takes？ Even my i5 4GB PC only needs 2 mins for initialization. That's weird.

I'll get on it. I have a desktop i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40 GHz with 16GB RAM and windows 10 x64.

I waited for an hour and 50 minutes and the game was still frozen. I'm not willing to wait for longer than that.

If you enable exactly the DLC that I listed above, does the game freeze for you?

I asked 3 guys to try different combination of dlcs and all of them finished initialization in less than 2 minutes.

Maybe you should try pausing and unpausing the game.

Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately it doesn't help. If I'm quick, I can pause and unpause before the freeze, but then it still freezes.

The game remains stuck at the start date - not a day ticks by. Also, clicking the ok button on the "government reform abolished: changes in your Country has led to the Reform no longer being viable and it has been abolished" popup immediately freezes the game. But if you don't click on the ok, if freezes anyway after a few seconds.

Despite waiting 20 minutes, the game is still suspended.
