ok, guys in this thread i will say some hints of easter eggs:

The first easter egg you need to sell a :melon:
The hula doll needs to be put in any shelf

So a friend of mine and I have been bashing our heads together about the watermelon. We've tried a watermelon, a watermelon with a basket, bringing the doll for both, and a few other combinations around the cash register, and we have attempted to interact with the phone as well.

Any hints that might put us on the right track, or anything in particular that we missed in our testing that could potentially solve this?

Well, I never sold a melon, but there's definitely something worth snooping around for in that room. I don't know how to spoiler Steam comments, but I can give you more hints if you like.
As for the rocket launcher on the ceiling...I'm assuming it's a prop. Hopefully.
