It seems a number of people are having issues with mod updates or falling out of synch with their server.

If your server has not been updated I always include a link to the previous version in my release announcement. You can load the older version for yourlocal client with these steps:

1 - click the link to get the prior version .PAK file
2 - copy the .pak file to your local mod folder at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Mods
3 - when starting up the game go to Mods in the launcher and manually swap in the mod version you want to load.
4 - Game client will require a restart to load the selected mod version.


If your server is not loading the current mod version (or is reporting proper version but seems to have issues) you may need to reinstall the mod on server manually. Different hosts offer different methods of managing server mods. I cannot address them all. Most often this is an issue with how the server host is interacting with Steam.

If you are able to, force a reinstall of mod(s) on your server as the least intrusive method.

If that doesn't work you can try stopping your server (very important that you stop your server to avoid building loss!), uninstall the mod, reinstall the mod and then restart the server service.

Failing that, you may need to log a ticket with your host provider.
