go into your "GarrysMod" folder. inside there should be another one called "garrysmod". Go there. After that there will be a "data" folder. And in there, there will be a folder called "mapicons". if you want them to work, go to your "maps" folder in the "garrysmod" folder. make a new folder called icon. Move all the images in there and you will be good to go!

ok he got one word wrong, the folder you add to maps should be named lowercase thumb NOT icon.
