No Mayan version of sunset invasion? Any plans for such?

it doesn't seem to be by the description given. I think you misunderstood this line:
If you have land outside of America and Greenland, you can't do "Sunset Invasion"

Your thinking this says you can only do sunset invasion IN those lands, but it's not. It's saying if you own anything OTHER than those(any thing outside of north and south America) you can't do the "Sunset Invasion". For example if you have conquered... let's say Tangiers(i think that's how you spell it), then even if that is the only non American land you hold, you wont be able to launch a "Sunset Invasion".
Conversely, if you conquer all of the land listed as belonging to the America's AND Greenland, but hold nothing else, you can still launch a "Sunset Invasion".
Of course this is currently all dependant on you being Aztec

yeah but if u hold land outside of the Americas, doesnt that stop the ability to launch sunset invasions?

If u have land in Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia, u can't do sunset invasion.
