Just spawned inside the locked Muldraugh police stations's jail without any tools to open the door and no way to kill myself.

Hi Neren, unfortunately this is considered a feature. There is a small chance you will spawn in a jail cell. See the probabilities in the mod description.

This is not a "feature". There should be no impossible spawns, this is just a good concept that doesn't work in practice. Instead of starting in a cell, they should spawn just outside it.

That is a good perspective. I will consider moving all of the challenging starts to a separate sub-mod like the variations.

I've managed to spawn on top of the same roof several times with no way of getting off it, can't even fall off the edge. It's a West Point spawn: as best as I can tell, it is the diner across the road from the Bank and next door to the furniture shop, although it is hard to confirm 100% as the inside of the building and surroundings aren't really visible.

Spawned in a cell block (outside the individual cells but locked into the block with exits beyond observation doors also locked) in prison with no way out. Had to un-alive myself by breaking an observation window and climbing through over and over until I bled to death lol

Sorry to double post but I’ve found more odd spawns. One was outside on the street to the northwest of Valley Station. The other was on top of the roof of a big building with no way down, I wasn’t able to see any of my surroundings except there was a two lane road directly to the left of the building.

Just figured out how simple converting to relative coords is, here's a spreadsheet with all the coordinated spawn points that are apparently incorrect.

An update... not all of them are from specifically the professions spawnlist.lua, i'm betting if i go look at other spawnlists from different portions of this mod i'll find out that these coords are in more than just one set and there may be overlap.

In an attempt to help you find them faster, i'm adding more detail to the spreadsheet including fixes i've proposed, a search string to match each entry, and notes as appropriate. Hope it helps.♥

10/10 research. A couple were intended to be in a bad spot but I will look into the issue ones for sure. I think there is one somewhere in the list that spawns on a roof too based on a report but I cannot find it in the stack of 900.

This is the same for the "all the spawns" in prisons. I spawned in the prison near Rosewood, with zero zombies in the building, so I can't even shout to get them to break my cell door. I fail to see how this feature has any merit - if the only option is to delete your game, what's the point?

So the weird thing is. I tried the spawn scenario in the prison a few days ago, and it spawned me with a key. Then I tried again (using the same build) and now it won't spawn me with a key. It's really odd and inconsistent behavior and not really a feature IMO to just be stuck in a cell...

I love CD DA. Challenging spawns are fun. But I don't understand why locked jail cell burglar profession spawns are still a thing. It's just a waste of character-build/load/deleting-pointless-save time. And they don't seem that rare in my experience. Starting in a jail is great. But why in an impossible situation? Otherwise, fantastic mod. Thanks.
