is there anyway to stop the AI from running away from the combat?
is there anyway to stop the enemy AI from running away when they are stuck in combat cause i start a sandbox map in single player and i set up a defence then i spawn the AI far away so they could move towards me then once their in combat they run away till they are out the map

You should learn how to use editor and toggle "noretreat" option for soldiers.
