That happens because you are in a very populated with survivors place. It happened to me in the prison, but once I scape and move away, the game comes to its usual flow :)

I had this as well without a mod and before any zombies did spawn in world. I think it also does it when you are in place with lots of food and it sets it to lower tier. So in mall or supermarket it takes time to count all data on each food on each shelf. But I may be wrong

Same here, even with "Very Low" population. And if meet one survivor shooting zombies, FPS goes to 10 right next. :S

Put survivors spawn to very low, chance to be hostile and max chance to be hostile 0%, infinite ammo ON, auto task + hunger and thirst OFF.

All these stop the mod from doing constant checks for survivors behavior and it fixed most of the insane lag on my computer even with high count of zombies and abundant loot. If every hour while playing the lag slowly come back you can quit to menu and load your save again it fixes it for me.

It's not ideal since it makes them less realistic but it makes it playable i'll take that over nothing.

I have the same problem. I hope there is a fix soon! Insane mod!

I found that re-starting the whole game fixes this, it seems to happen for me if I play a save and then re-load or start a new game.

As far as I know only restarting the game fixes the stuttering. Just like VirtualRageMaster said.

If anyone still need a solution here's some: Probably in your area 1 or 2 NPCs trying to open same door and repeatly closing it back causing these lags, I was running around prison and found two NPCs trying to get into cell, killing them instantly fixed all lags.
