Can't, stuff made from VJ Base has a thing where I can't override the default kill icon.
The code stopping me may be a simple "If killed by entity = default kill icon", but it can not be overwritten.

Gonna have to step on some cockroaches from Half-Life: Source or use a kicking addon to see it though.
Will be awesome if you add icon like falling man or broken leg/bone.
It entirely depends on how the addons like these are coded. If an invisible entity killed the NPC when landing absolutely. But in this case the NPC simply takes damage and/or dies when hitting the ground. So unfortunately it is not possible without greatly modifying the source code. Sorry. :(
Half-Life 2 beta stuff now has kill icons. :D
The Pew Gun now uses the pistol icon from Half-Life 2: Deathmatch :3
