Some prisoners not eating
So I have an issue, and I'm wondering if it's a bug or if perhaps I'm just doing something wrong.

I installed a wall freezer (modded) on the wall connecting my prison general area and the colonist kitchen, which the colonist keep stocked up nicely with simple meals.

I put down a table and some sitting cushions.

I see some prisoners grabbing the food and eating when hungry, but a few prisoners seem to just outright refuse to eat, until I finally get a severe malnutrition warning.

They are literally starving, they will get up, do work, stroll around, and they just... go on a hunger strike?

Do you use restriction zones for prisoners?

I do have a "Jail" zone, if that's what you mean. I don't use the "Labour" area. However the zone is the same for all the prisoners, the one who do and don't eat on their own. Is the Jail zone an issue?

If your all prisoners use that same vanilla restriction zone, it should not be an issue. However, prisoners system doesn't remove food restrictions, so maybe they have some royal titles?

Ok, so this is weird. After you mentioned this, I have double checked, and the actual freezer (which is IN the wall, between the prisoner area and kitchen) wasn't actually marked as part of the zone.

I have originally assumed that it would be fine, as they are allowed in the square next to it so can walk up to grab things.

But since you said zones could be an issue, I have amended this to physically include the freezer. It fixed the issue.

I wouldn't have thought of this, because of the fact that some of the prisoners were just fine getting that food out xD but hey, the mysteries of the Rim, I guess.
