Known Issues
Below is a compiled list of issues that I'm currently aware of. If you've found a problem with the map that isn't listed here, please let me know by replying to this thread and providing as much info as you can so that I can hopefully reproduce the problem.

List of Known Issues
  • Some forest walls don't trigger the game over teleport when you touch them.
  • Some trees are not connected to the ground in the forest, causing them to sway. I personally like the effect, so I'm calling this a 'feature' for now.
  • The ball elevator in Room 1 sometimes jams on the last tile. This can be rectified by simply bumping into the elevator.
  • The battery elevator in Room 1 jams on the first tile after being lowered back into the ground. While unsightly, it shouldn't hinder gameplay.
  • The door from Room 1 partially obscures the ball dispenser in Room 2. This was a design overlook. A possible solution would be to redesign the door to swing upwards instead of sideways.
  • The small ball that is dispensed in Room 2 is difficult to manipulate, adding unnecessary frustration to the puzzle. As a possible solution, I could add an elevator for a larger ball and have the small ball from the dispenser fall into a slot, which would trigger said elevator. For now, you may find the ball easier to controller if you hold down the crouch key.
  • The archway elevator in Room 3 shudders up and down before fully engaging with the timer mechanism. This is likely caused by the piston wobbling as it extends, causing the timer's 'hand' to partially enter some trigger areas prematurely. As a possible solution, I could force the timer's 'hand' to remain partially rotated, so that it fully enters all trigger areas as soon as it extends; on the downside, this would slightly reduce the timer's duration.
  • The object sensors in Room 3 are triggered by the flower blocks in the center if the player bumps into them, making the ball essentially useless. Reducing the sensors' trigger areas' depths from 2 blocks to 1 block should fix this problem.
  • Upon solving the puzzle in Room 3, there is a delay of a few seconds before the doors open. If the timer depletes before the door opens, you will have to redo the puzzle. This is caused by a delayed-trigger mechanism that I added as a fail-safe, since it is sometimes possible for the player to trigger the OnEnter sensor without it being in its ready state. This could probably be solved by redesigning the mechanism to use something faster than a servo piston.
  • The stairs in Room 4 almost always jam. I attempted to rectify this by dropping rubber balls on the pistons when they're activated. This unfortunately resulted in the occasional rubber ball being catapulted into the room for no apparent reason, potentially confusing or misleading players. A potential solution would be to remove the rubber balls in favor of attaching a vibrator mechanism to the stairs.
  • The stairs in Room 4 are slippery and probably violate several safety laws. Please consult your temple's union representative if you've sustained any injuries resulting from the operation or usage of these stairs.
