It's quite hard to "Aim" with the binoculars against flying dinos, a fetuare to lock the stat window would be great.

Maybe the taming food and amount as don by i.e. the awesome spyglass mod. Except for the taming food I like this mod better because when you use the binoculars or spyglass, you still have the feeling that you are looking through sth because of the smaller limited window that you can look through. It's not like you can have it always equipped and just see everything with the normal screen. But I miss the taming food and amount ;)

also, is it possible to have a variant that is powered by element, much like the tek suit itself say 1 element per day cycle... or something.. just to make it fall more inline with the current tek items?

These aren't tek-tier items, they are fabricator-tier, so an element requirement wouldn't really be fitting (other than maybe the v4 binoculars, I suppose).

I did previously have the idea to implement a limited charge for the binoculars (v3 and v4, specifically), requiring them to be recharged if you want to continue using the vision modes. I ended up shelving the whole idea because I had more important things to work on. The code - such as it is - is still there, I can dust it off and see if I can get it working.

The remaining question is how they should be recharged. My initial idea was to just set it up so that you repair it with electronics (replacing the batteries? however you want to justify it). That didn't feel quite right, but none of my other ideas were particularly viable so it'll have to do.

what about charged batteries from aberration? from a charge station ?

... that would mean anyone on The Island and Scorched Earth needs mods or transfers to recharge them.

any plan to add the structure info as with the basic spyglass? even if just the basic structure info, feels weird using v3 binos with thermal vision mod and can't tell how much ammo is in my turrets lol.

but i do indeed love this mod, seen other people using spyglass mods and wanted something similar, this one is perfect, bar the structure thing. keep up the beautiful work cupcake

I don't suppose it's easy to make it so the Implant stays with you when you fast travel?

Maybe add the current speed if possible, close to the coords. It would be a nice thing to be able to see and would let you compare between mounts.
