If that is your entire view on H-games, you are yet still a shallow caveman in this subculture of entertainment, peasant. Why do you need to put yourself in some nameless and hollow protagonist's shoes to appreciate good sexual content or anything in general, do you have that low self-esteem? Are you that sad?

To answer your question, no. I prefer player-insert games, that's true. That's what entertains me, I don't care what you think about my point of view. And trust me, I would never see myself as that goofy ahh squire... He's not a self-insert material along with almost every adult game protagonist.
You seem to be a veteran player on these kinds of games... Can you recommend me a good player-insert game? No. Because there is none.
If you self-admittedly prefer a protagonist archetype that offer practically no depth or quality, then on what grounds do you judge people who enjoy a H-game with 3rd person story telling? Back to the topic:
If you believe that in a game, the male MC actually screws anyone, you're right, if that's what you enjoy with. Even though both he and the girls aren't real.
Player is real and does/thinks what he wants.
If the player wants to watch others, nothing is wrong with it.
If the player wants to imagine himself there, not as the MC, but as himself and enjoys it, it's alright and nothing is wrong with it.
If the player wants to do something else like, imagining his friend? It's normal too.
Some games are meant to be played/watched by the player, you just play as a random ass dude.
Some games are for player himself, there are no actual "protagonist" because it's the player, the person who is playing the game.
In those games "protagoinst" is an empty state for player to fill however he likes it.
Well, most of the "self-insert" games are fake, because they give the protagonist a personality. But it's also easier for the developers, it becomes harder to make an empty "protagonist" state and give choices to player to create their own character.
You see, it ends in the head. You just enjoy it however you like it. These stuff are meant to entertain the player. Do whatever you like.
