List of Gene Mods Implemented in this Mod
Adaptation / Supercompensation

Adaptation: When taking damage, soldier will gain stacking resistance to that damage type until the end of the mission. Supercompensation: if critically wounded, soldier's maximum Health will be increased by 1. Soldier will require extra time to recover. Triggers once per tactical mission.

  • Cost (Rookie, Veteran, Commander, Legend) = { 45, 45, 65, 65 } Supplies
  • Requirement = Alien Biotech research

Secondary Heart

Upon taking lethal damage, this soldier will begin bleeding out. They will remain conscious, but they will die if they are not Stabilizied or evacuated within a few turns.

  • Category = Chest
  • Cost (Rookie, Veteran, Commander, Legend) = { 55, 55, 65, 75 } Supplies
  • Requirement = Alien Biotech research

Berserker Genes

Taking damage will cause this soldier to enter berserker rage and attack enemies in sight.

  • Category = Skin
  • Cost (Rookie, Veteran, Commander, Legend):
    • { 55, 55, 65, 75 } Supplies
    • { 2, 2, 2, 3 } Berserker Corpses
  • Requirement = Berserker Autopsy research

Tranquil Mind

This soldier cannot be targeted or affect by any psionic abilities, inclduing those from allied sources.

  • Category = Brain
  • Cost (Rookie, Veteran, Commander, Legend) = { 55, 55, 65, 75 } Supplies
  • Requirement = Psionics research

Chaotic Mind

This soldier receives a large bonus to Psi Offense, but cannot contain the power, and at the end of turn will damage all units within 2 tiles, including allies. Solace and Mind Shield will suppress this effect.

  • Category = Brain
  • Cost (Rookie, Veteran, Commander, Legend):
    • { 45, 45, 55, 60 } Supplies
    • { 2, 2, 2, 3 } Sectoid Corpses
  • Requirement = Sectoid Autopsy research

Cheetah Genes

This soldier receives a large bonus to Mobility, but moving will make the soldier gradually lose the bonus, and even transform it into a penalty. Lost mobility is gradually recovered each turn the soldier doesn't move.

  • Category = Legs
  • Cost (Rookie, Veteran, Commander, Legend) = { 50, 50, 60, 70 } Supplies
  • Requirement = Alien Biotech research

Viper's Reflex

Soldier gains +20 Dodge, and when Dodging enemy attacks, they will move out of the way of the attack, completely avoid the damage. Triggers once per turn.

  • Category = Legs
  • Cost (Rookie, Veteran, Commander, Legend):
    • { 40, 40, 50, 55 } Supplies
    • { 2, 2, 2, 3 } Viper Corpses
  • Requirement = Viper Autopsy research

Only wallclimb in Mitzuruti's Perk Pack.
Up until today when I used Chaotic mind it would blast enemies around me for 3 damage, just recently it doesn't seem to do that, I'm not sure which is intended when your soldiers has solace, but it seems strange that it has suddenly changed.

Also, does Vipers reflex make your soldier change cover on dodge? I just noticed my soldier do it twice today.

The in-game description of Chaotic Mind clearly states that its effect is suppressed by Solace and Mind Shield. Or any other effect that provides immunity to 'mental' damage type.

Again, the in-game description clearly states as much, though I suppose "move out of the way of the attack" is not super explicit.

Yes, the Mitzruti's Perk Pack Mod specifically has Gene Mods that require this mod to work.

any plans to add super buffed versions of some gene mods that will be obtainable from the alien rulers (with high cost and severe drawbacks)
Tranquil Mind, what does that encompass exactly when it comes to Psionic abilities? I'm also comparing to Neural Dampening.

Psionic Abilities cannot target or affect a unit that has Tranquil Mind.

Just trying to understand, to clarify a comparison between Tranquil Mind and Neural Dampening, it's basically the same but Neural Dampening can be buffed by Allied Psionic Abilities, while Tranquil mind neutralises everything Psionic?
