There's already a cosmetic like this one before and it's for halloween too.
The cosmetic called Iron Fist. (https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Iron_Fist) looks like this. And it can be painted just like this cosmetic. Hope it gets added even tho it looks like Iron Fist.

You can only equip Iron Fist when Halloween is active which sucks. Plate Metal Punchers can be wearable at all times and it also looks better, so there's no reason to not add this item into the game i think

Plus this one looks like an engineer glove rather than a gray hunk of metal, which is a better default color palette.
