Pawn skin color randomizing at all times
Tried using this mod as a substitute for prepare carefully, but any time I change anything about the pawn appearance in the editor the skin color will randomize. Also during gameplay, any time the appearance of a character changes, or even at random moments, a characters skin color will change for no discernible reason. I don't get an error or anything.

The same is happening with me. Dont want to start a new colony like this, so if anyone has a solution, i would be thankful.

Ok nvm. Found a solution in the comments here. Just download the older version from the mod "humanoid alien races" from their Github and use it. Theyve updated this mod on steam today and it kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up.

For anyone looking into this, "Humanoid Alien Races" has a setting that resolves the error via the mod setting menu, AFAIK it was to do with setting the pigment based on the faction? but yeah toggle it on and your all good.

Go to mod options of character editor and deactivate 'Extended Color Space'. Than start a new game. Rimworld does not support colors of 512-base since quite a long time.

I got a problem where the pawn don't show up when you press the character editor. You can still change the pawn color, hair etc..but the pawn itself won't show up in the left hand window. Weird.

I have this mod: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2555107849&searchtext=rim+faces and I have https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=839005762&searchtext=alien. So just humanoid alien races 2.0 and faces of the rim with its dependancy. Thats all I have. I don't have any other races that are not human.

@VOID Yes I have updated to the latest version of character editor. I also have a couple of hair mods that I have on as well.
