I saved multiple characters with Psylink level 5 and 5+ learned psycasts. Upon loading each of them into the new game, they only had level 1 and only had their first, level 1 psycast.

There may be some underlying mechanic to psycasting that causes this, but I didn't see it mentioned anywhere and wanted to report.
