When i played him, i felt a lot of his frames came out way too late. Id speed it up a little and add a few extra animations

i like the new changes, but i still feel like he could use an aireal that would work well for killing. I get what your going for with bair, but maybe add a tip sweep spot that pushes them far away that can be used for killing (similar strength to the popular luigi workshop character's back air).

He needs a little bit more speed, and also needs some original moves to make this mario stand out.

i like the way you are going with designing this character. unlike the others, i think his speed is fine for now, since he is in a fast paced game like rivals of aether. you should reduce the startup of his fireballs and increase the velocity of them to make them more effective at zoning. the tradeoff should be nerfing its damage and giving it increased recovery frames. i would also suggest further adjusting some of his hitboxes making them bigger slightly bigger( mainly his aerials), basically a strength smash mario had compared to other non-swordsman.
