I'd already thought about nerfing her heal. Thanks for the input, I'll probably make some changes to it when I start the balancing patch
Good question. If you check the update notes for the latest updates, all of them are "dev" versions and include those different sprites and a lot of in-development stuff.
With that said, none of said sprites are final. They're there to fill a hole and make the character playable in the least amount of time possible, as time is something I don't have much of.
All of those sprites will be changed to match the Sonic Battle artstyle, as can be seen with the front tilt, which was the first non-Sonic Battle spritesheet used and changed to look the part.
Hope that doesn't bother you much or make you not want to play the Character.
Nah, it hasn't bothered me that much, just thought I'd point it out. This character is pretty good so far by the way. Keep up the good work!
Thanks! I'll try to finish this character as soon as I can!
1. The N-special can be spammed and perma-lock the other fighter until the Amy player stops using NS to follow up with a strong attack, I know it's very short range and not good when there's more than 2 players but still a locking move that is spamable is very powerful. Not sure how change it thou.
2. The D-special is bit unfair even with the cooldown, A pretty fast 9% heal is too good. Maybe slow down the healing rate and longer cooldown?
3. The S-special can get her from one end of the stage to the other. So lower how far she can go with it.
4. The U-strong looks and acts weird. Don't know what to change it to.
I agree and I will change some stuff when I get back to modding, as a lot of stuff needs nerfing and some touch-ups.
1. Probably an increase in endlag can fix that,
2. True. Maybe a 5% heal with a longer cooldown will do,
3. Right, but I'm not sure if I should decrease it too much because I don't want to make it an unreliable move,
4. Yeah, that one was made in a hurry as I was running out of time to work on the mod. The fix relies on redoing the animation's spritesheet almost entirely. Probably add in some frames and edit some hitboxes.
