The animation makes it feel like it should be some kind of dropkick. Like the animation should speed up, then drop you straight down, spiking on the way. Maybe even only drop you some distance, so if you go high enough you can recover. It just feels super unpolished right now, because the animation and the actual effect are a bit disjointed. Probably the biggest issue right now, everything else feels pretty polished for the most part.
