Extra Installation Steps
1: Download the accessory here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jsofcp5u0d1hgyj/modified_talker_scripts.zip?dl=0

2 (Local/SinglePlayer): Drag "modified_talker_scripts" into "common/Left 4 Dead 2"

2 (Dedicated Servers): Drag "modified_talker_scripts" into "<your server directory>"

3 (Local/SinglePlayer): Open gameinfo.txt located in "Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2" and add the highlighted line in this photo example (use tabs for appropriate spacing) - https://imgur.com/a/b1DDu1r

(After some playtesting, it is recommend to list the accessory folder above the "update" line. This will prioritize the accessory above everything else.)

3 (Dedicated server): Open gameinfo.txt located in "<your server directory>" and add the highlighted line in *this* example (use tabs for appropriate spacing) - https://imgur.com/a/b1DDu1r

Yes, dedicated servers have their own directory that you will not be able to access. So your best bet is to use the Local server method

You drag the entire (unzipped) folder into the "Left 4 Dead 2" folder.

If you have replaced the .vpk, then you need to verify your game files.

To clarify, you will never touch the .vpk within the downloaded folder. It is not meant to be moved outside of the folder it came with.

Whatever contains "left4dead2", "left4dead2_dlcx", etc

that would be "common/Left 4 Dead 2" it has left4dead2 and lelf4dead2_dlc1, 2, 3. but it doesn't have the gameinfo.txt file

When hosting games in the lobby, like hosting a local server. Does everyone in the lobby need to install the accessory, or only the host?

Ah, Ok. Thank you. I really enjoy this add-on. Shame that Valve disable over half of these voice lines. Keep up the great work.
