Odd Texture Glitch?
So whenever I spawn the nextbots (G1, G2, G3, and Mr. X), it's like they have a weird, faulty metallic texture. I'm not sure what the problem is exactly, but I'd really appreciate any help in figuring this out. Thanks!

iirc Mr. Xs is caused by either Stormfox, or mat_specular being set to 1. I'm not Roach though so I don't know. G1-G3 is probably the same. Maybe.

i have the same problem and mat_specular being set to 0 does nothing.

what directx do you have, and are you running on windows 10?

the bug happens with the licker too.

Afraid I don't know what a directx is, and I'm running Gmod on Mac.

ah, i haven't got a mac so i can't test the npcs on the mac branch of gmod, so i'm afraid i can't help you there

When you shoot Mr. X, the sound that plays, is the one that plays when you hit metal. Mr X. IS metal.I can't fix bugs, but this MIGHT be a reason.

Strange when i turn off Mat Specular it Fixed Everything.
Can You Send us a Screenshot what its like so it will be more detailed?

try setting mat specular to 0, and if that doesn't work, turn off hdr in your options
