How to properly use concealed defences?
Hello everybody.
I've been wanting to have a system of concealed defenses so that when a raid or some other emergency occurs, my barrier and turrets activate.

I tried connecting all my concealed defenses with the same power conduit line and connect that to a switch but I messed up and now when I turn off that switch I don't just deactivate the concealed defenses but also kill the power to everything else.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to efficiently use them or make a separate power circuit for them?

Use them on doors in narrow hallways, when concealed they're just normal tiles, when raised they slow and hinder enemy passerby's potentially keeping them at the door they just beat down

Using them as tanky bullet sponges that can deploy when need be but for the most part are a semi-durable static "target" that draws wildlife and raiders to it as it's an "easy target" but can also defend itself when you need it to

I would say other ways, but I would need to test it myself and see how it would work but I don't use the strategies that would work in those ways due to personal style of playing

My issue is getting them to actually turn on when needed and then off when not. My switches never seem to work and I can't have my pawns wasting time turning them all on one-by-one.

Check a mod called PowerSwitch. It has a function where your power switch will automatically toggle when enemies are within a certain radius. This lets you have your defences concealed most of the time but when under attack they automatically deploy
