yo i know its not the AI system
i understand that there are a lot of people working on this project but lets just give you an example; og version i spawn always south east of neri and the town under it to keep my missions 4k but to keep me away from any air bases and to try to keep myself closer to other things than kavala .... i hit the outspost underneath the SE resources near the SE factory and outposts ... 1.3 i test AT squad they engage and of course none lands a hit with their STARTER RPG THAT COME UNLIMITED THE CRAP WEAPON IN THE GAME BUT THEY USE IT not effectivly but they try to.. i jump from my offroad 1.3k from the outpost snipe everyone with m76 clear out hit resource with their mrap then head back to HQ QRF they take em back no bigy.... try same things on ur version... AT squad refuses to engage with launchers they all die in the road like morons.... that fine i clear road block myself go save then get AI to man gun head to resource ... make sure that i clear area on my way dont need any patrols creepn me ... call in infantry support and they get hit so im like tf restart.... this time i call in the infanry before leaving and send them out same thing hit same spot by a patrol... so restart this time i drive them over ther behin them staying undercover nothing ,,,,, no patrol not even a ♥♥♥♥ head gov patrol nothing.... you know what that is? the enemy AI commander spawning a patrol.... SPAWNING IT ...... u understand that not generated leaft from a base , WAS SPAWNING IT THERE LIKE A ZEUS ... i had enough took the resources and during the QRF i went to the outpost under kavala and a bradly and two apcs so im like greeeeeeat three tanks and guess what i spawn in ur AT squad and guess what they did ... did this on 1.3 yea they died but they engages took shots and gave me a window to escape ...... i know u dont want to scrap ur AI system ...... but i don't know what you should do if you wont make our AI better

one more thing ..... i get that we are a gurilla faction ... but then why does the usa greek and russian factions the first 30 seconds in the mission break geneva? we are the gurillas right ? we should be using their tactics against them... they have to follow war law... we dont have one ... how do u explain that?

For the "spawned like a zeus" squad, was it a two man patrol because, if so, that is a patrol that loads in when the outpost is within unit spawn range. All of the units spawn at the flag and then are moved to their starting positions. I can see where this could cause an issue such as this however the only way this could be negated is by you yourself moving into spawn range before starting your AI pushing.

As I said in the comment thread the AI skill levels are due to be looked at with the rest of the QRF and AI Commander work.

I am interested to know what war crimes you've seen the AI commit as I fully agree that at least the Blufor faction shouldn't commit any. Redfor should at least try to avoid them :)

im pretty sure the commander AI nuking towns with napalm is a war crime in its self ;) true this post made me feel a little better .... there is no way it was a two man gov patrol taking out a lvl 3 infantry group and if it was then see my point proven in other regards how the ♥♥♥♥ does a two man gov patrol in blue gear take out an entire truck of AI , cuz our AI are crap.....

oh if u like meer i can record my finds with my AI on ur map not engaging with their launchers i swear it only happens on ur version on 1.3 they use the rhs rpg they suck with them xD but they do fire them ... myself i have no idea whats causing it... and the .ini file and cpu allo is a problem i know thats ARMA 3 bohem messed up hard when making entire PG maps... but its how you set it up ... i know you dont understand i dont think any of us do its why all communities and map makes have had this same problem but there are work arounds but at the end of the day the .ini can only handle soo much ... i was just saying if it cant be figured out focus on how our AI work make them better so we can deploy less it will cut AI uses on map by a third .... just a suggestion

good job btw tho the map is improved a lot ... still some things but all in all i do want to share my appreciation for not letting this project go and to continue to work on it

Napalm can now be disabled for the AI in a parameter.
We are now aware of a mathematics error in the AI skill setup that causes them to be completely inept when playing on easy.
As for them not using their weapons, that could be part of a wider AI issue we have identified and are planning work to improve it.

Thanks for your reports of these issues, it's community posts like this that we rely on to identify problems that we otherwise cannot find through our official server.

you know thinking about this meer and you are right just with the size of what u guys are doing over there on that server it makes sense that me on solo i can stress the mission out causing more issues ... which is why we play LAN :P buuut with that being said I have gotten pretty good at stress testing the map its self, give me a week ... like legit a week to set up irl and in game and i will save my progress ... cheese it a lil bit after steal a couple apcs which i dont like to do but this is for science ;) ill see what else i can uncover
