You're fighting two armies, but at the start they're mostly fighting each other, which gives you the opportunity to farm some resources. Unless you start somewhere in the NE, you won't see much of CSAT for a while other than the attack notifications.

So even if I am no where near the Russian carrier I il start seeing Russian squads and hardware?

Only if you're hanging around near invader-owned territories.

just to comment on this post cuz i have been playing this map for two years and i still get confused .... when they are together GOV and INV they do still att GOV for balance ? i never understood why one second id be getting hit by usaf while attacking a usaf roadblock using russian gear that they clearly bought from the russians but then jtac response is modern usa mila ... then why the heck are the russians attacking them? or is it just cuz we are missing the ace compatibility mods so we are missing gear cuz we dont use ace in SP
