Mortars bugged?
i send them to a location and they get there and just constantly pick up and put down the mortar and can never be used or selected for strikes

This is a known issue that doesn't happen all of the time. We are trying to find out what causes this.

I have the same problem, but only when using the RHSGREF mod. If I leave that one out, it still lets me use the RHSUSAF and RHSAFRF and then the insurgents are vanilla. The vanilla Mk6 mortar sets up and takes down without any problems.

Try an make sure the mortar squad is positioned on flat ground. I found that increases the odds of them deploying the mortar. If they don't crew it, remote control the ai and get on the mortar.
