Please elaborate.
How do they reload effectivly? How do you slide a hammer with your teeth????

My guess is that for soldiers with magic, they just use the magic to slide a hammer. That or they designed the guns to make it easy for those with hooves to slide the hammer.

Equestria pony has magic hooves that function as foot and hand for them. they can grab things with their hooves alright.
